The Cooke County Appraisal District (CCAD) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas vested with the authority to appraise all actual and private property throughout the boundaries of Cooke County, Texas, United States.
The chief appraiser is chargeable for the each day operations of the appraisal district and its 41 workers. The chief appraiser can also be a member of the board of administrators, which consists of 5 elected members. The board is chargeable for setting coverage and offering oversight of the appraisal district.
