Rodham rye, usually referred to as Clinton rye, is a kind of rye whiskey named after former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It’s produced by the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, and is made out of a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Rodham rye is aged for at least 4 years in new, charred oak barrels.
Rodham rye is a easy, spicy whiskey with a posh taste profile. It has notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and spice, with an extended, lingering end. Rodham rye is bottled at 94 proof and is on the market in 750ml and 1 liter bottles.
