How many times greater is the value of 5.3 than the value of 0.53

To find the number of times greater, let us divide 5.3 by 0.53.

Number of times greater = [tex]\frac{5.3}{0.53}[/tex]

[tex]=\frac{5.3}{0.53}(\frac{100}{100} )[/tex]

[tex]=\frac{530}{53}[/tex]

= 10

Hence, 5.3 is 10 times greater than 0.53.
