Subtract 3 from each side.

2x+3=15
    -3=15-3
2x=12
x=6

Yes You are right 2x+3=15 Subtract 3 from both sides 2x+3-3 = 15-3 2x= 12 Divide both sides by 2 2x/2=12/2 X= 6 I hope that's help !
