When x is 2, y is 4, p is 0.5, and m is 2. If x varies directly with the product of p and m and inversely with y, which equation models the situation?

x = kpm/y   where k is a constant

x=2,y=4,p=0.5, m=2 so:-

2 = k*0.5*2 / 4

2 =  0.25k
k = 2/0.25 = 8

required equation is x = 8pm/y
