The area of ANYTHING circular is (pi) x (the circle's radius)².

Radius = 1/2 of the diameter

Radius of the mirror = 6 inches

Area of the mirror = (pi) x (6 inches)²

                                = (pi) x (36 inches²)  =  113 square inches (rounded)
