I'd say conventional representation. The representation of threaded parts in drawings depends on the type of screw applied. Both the screw thread and its dimensions are to be indicated by standards designations. A draftsman should be in position to draw the true projection of a thread and is always important that he follows some conventional methods to represent screw threads.
